Edgware (/ ˈ ɛ dʒ w ɛər /) is a suburban town in northern Greater London. It was an ancient parish in the county of Middlesex mainly east of the ancient Watling Street in what is now the London Borough of Barnet but it is now considered to cover a wider area, including parts of the boroughs of Harrow and Brent . Broadfields occupies the northwestern corner of Edgware and the wider London Borough of Barnet. It is located 10.5 miles (16 km) northwest of Charing Cross and the nearest London Underground station is Edgware tube station, located a short distance to the south. It is on the urban-rural boundary of the London suburban built-up area.
In 2008/2009, a major refurbishment of the School was completed to provide up-to-date facilities that include a computer suite, an art/drama/music room, interactive Smartboards and new administrative offices. In Spring 2009, the kitchen was relocated to provide space for a new school library.
