Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (Arabic: عبد العزيز بن سعود آل سعود ʿAbd al ʿAzīz ibn Suʿūd Āl Suʿūd; born 4 November 1983) is a Saudi royal who has been the Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia since 21 June 2017.
Prince Abdulaziz was born in 1960 [1] [2] as the fourth son of King Salman bin Abdulaziz. [3] His mother is Sultana bint Turki Al Sudairi, who died at age 71 in July 2011. [4] [5] She was the daughter of Salman's uncle, Turki bin Ahmed Al Sudairi, [6] who was formerly the governor of Asir Province. [7]
Prince Saud was born in 1956. [4] He is the eldest son and one of ten children of the former Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Nayef bin Abdulaziz. [5] His mother is Al Jawhara bint Abdulaziz bin Musaid Al Jiluwi [6] who died in July 2019. [7]
