    That sounds like an oil well which needs a resource well extractor which isn’t unlocked until the advanced aluminum milestone in Tier 8. I found some nodes that look like a bubbling geyser. One is pure and there are a couple others. However you can't seem to place an extractor on them….

    ERROR: It appears that the OP is attempting to place a Crude Oil Extractor on a Crude Oil Resource Well, and not on a Crude Oil Resource Node. You need to place a Resource Well Pressurizer FIRST in the central Resource Well Node.
