Recoil Spring Assembly (RSA) - The genuine Glock is another hard to beat component. I've flirted with aftermarket RSA's....OEM is very reliable and by the way, the best option for a P80 build. The only thing that you might want to change (if this is a range gun) is the striker spring power.
IMO the main benefit to the Glock at $500/$600 is that I can purchase a dead nuts reliable base gun and either add a nicer trigger, optic, light etc or keep it pretty stock. Plenty of people buy other more pricey options and still end up mosifying the triggers, getting optic cuts or plates that are better than factory.

Buddy has a 9mm Banshee. It takes Glock mags. We tried his upper with my Stern Defense adapter in my SBR lower. It did not work. I have a Stern Defense Glock adapter under a PSA 8" 9mm upper. As long as the adapter stays intact, you're GTG with this setup.

There's build info and everything else you need to know to make one run 100% from the start, and feed literally any factory ammo, including 147 HSTs..
I have a few Safariland LVL 3 holsters with clips etc but what are your carry holsters that are comfortable for a Glock setup like this? I have used Crossbreed holsters, they are okay but not super comfy and I usually carry IWB but not AIWB although I could. Thanks in advance.
Permanently stippling a Glock frame almost universally lowers resale value. If you NEVER intend to sell or trade the firearm, then it is not a big deal. If there is even a remote chance you will ever sell or trade the firearm, I would consider another alternative such as keeping the original frame in it's original condition and buying a second ...
