In return the Warsaw district would close its junior high school and send its students to Nauvoo-Colusa Junior High School. [4] On Tuesday February 12, 2008 voters in both districts approved the deactivation plans. [5] High school students attended Nauvoo-Colusa High School from 1961 to 2008. [6]
The conference was “intended to provide good, clean competition and fellowship for the boys, the coaches, and the school bodies of the Northern Lakes region.” Concord High School joined the NLC in 1967 and Wawasee High School joined in 1968. By 1970, all schools participated in all eight boys’ sports. In the 1970s Girls’ sports were added.

It is located out of town on Lane of Champions by the intersection Wildcat Drive and highway 83. It is the only high school in the Warsaw R-IX School district. The original building had a Middle school built on to it.
