Dufour Gib'Sea 37 Dufour Yachts at the 2007 Genoa International Boat Show. Dufour Yachts is a French sailboat manufacturer which was founded in 1964 by naval architect and engineer Michel Dufour. [3] It was purchased by Fountaine Pajot in 2018, and Dufour remains a separate brand. [4]
The boat is fitted with a Swedish Volvo MD6A diesel engine or, optionally, a small 4 to 8 hp (3 to 6 kW) outboard motor for docking and maneuvering. [1] [3] The design has sleeping accommodation for four people, with a double "V"-berth in the bow cabin and two straight settee quarter berths in the main cabin.

The Dufour 1800 is a recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with wood trim.It has a fractional sloop rig, aluminum spars, a raked stem, a reverse transom, an internally mounted spade-type rudder controlled by a tiller with an extension and a fixed fin keel or optional lifting keel.
