The Shanghai Masters (Chinese: 上海大师赛, also known as Shanghai Rolex Masters for sponsorship reasons) is an annual tennis tournament for male professional players held in Shanghai, China. It is played on outdoor hard courts at the Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena in the Minhang District , and is held in early October .
Jannik Sinner defeated Novak Djokovic in the final, 7–6 (7–4), 6–3 to win the singles title at the 2024 Shanghai Masters. It was his fourth ATP Masters 1000 singles title, seventh title of the season, and 17th career title.
The winner received £210,000 from a total prize fund of £825,000. The defending champion was Ronnie O'Sullivan , who defeated Luca Brecel 11–9 in the 2023 final . O'Sullivan lost in the semi-final to Judd Trump , who went on to win the tournament by defeating Shaun Murphy 11–5 in the final.
