Lamon bay in Gumaca. A large sea bay and island on the indented Pacific coast of Luzon, consisting of predominantly coral shore with pockets of intertidal mudflat and mangrove in the smaller bays. In many places, the nearshore corals have died and have been covered with silt to form sandy flats.
It lies between the towns of Atimonan and Gumaca, hugging the coastline of the Province alongside Maharlika Highway. Its inhabitants are occupied primarily with fishing. Those engaged in Agriculture plant mostly coconut and rice. A visitor this town must taste and savor its local version of Suman.
Atimonan was founded by Simeona Mangaba on February 4, 1608, along the banks of the big Maling River, now known as Atimonan River. Living along the riverbank, the people have always been prey to Moro attacks and so for fear of Moro reprisals, the inhabitants decided to transfer to Palsabangon, now a barrio of Pagbilao, Quezon.

Humacao is located in the southeast coast of Puerto Rico.It is bordered by the municipalities of Naguabo to the north, Yabucoa to the south, and Las Piedras to the west. The Atlantic Ocean borders the city in the east.
