In 2006, Kevin Roberts founded John Paul the Great Academy and continued to head the school until 2013, when he left for Wyoming Catholic College. [2] The school continued operation when he left in 2013, and is actively educating grades PK-12 as of 2025. [3] Other past headmasters include Nathanael Rea, who headed the school in 2019. [4]
The school offers one of the top FFA programs in the state, a Speech Squad, NJROTC, Science Club, Cheerleading, Beta Club, Key Club, Robotics (FRC, FTC, and VEX), Christian Club, and a band. Athletics
