Isis District State High School is a public, co-educational, high school, located in the town of Childers, in Queensland, Australia. [1] [2] It is administered by the Department of Education, with an enrolment of 417 students and a teaching staff of 42, as of 2023. [2]
It opened to Childers on 31 October 1887 with intermediate stations at Bootharh, Horton and Doolbi. [6] Horton railway station was at and has been dismantled. [7] The line closed in 1964. Horton State School opened about 1888.
