A year later, English was introduced at the faculty for foreigners as the language of instruction. On October 21, 1998, the university was named after Danylo Halytsky. By decree of the President of Ukraine No. 872/2003 of August 21, 2003, the university received its current name - Lviv National Medical University Danylo Halytsky.
In 2009, B. Tech (Honors) and a five-year Dual degree programme (B. Tech + M. Tech) were introduced with all three of the disciplines the institute was offering. The Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU), formerly Mithila University, is a public university in India. Beginning in 1972, the university initially functioned from the Mohanpur House at Sara Mohanpur village on the Darbhanga-Sakri route. In 1975, it was shifted to the campus belonging to Raj Darbhanga.
