In February 2009, Deftones announced that they would perform as scheduled at the Bamboozle Left music festival in April, with their friend Sergio Vega (formerly of Quicksand) filling in for Cheng on stage. [14] [15] Vega eventually became Cheng's full-time replacement.
As the title suggests, Covers is a compilation of cover songs—many of which were previously released on B-Sides & Rarities (2005) and the digital version of Diamond Eyes (2010).
