The Benny Hill Show is a British comedy television show starring Benny Hill that aired on the BBC and ITV between 15 January 1955 and 1 May 1989. The show consisted mainly of sketches typified by slapstick , mime , parody , and double entendre .

Louise English (born 27 April 1962) is a British actress. She was a regular performer on The Benny Hill Show from 1978 to 1986, as an actress and in dance group Hill's Angels (the show ran from 1969 to 1989) and has performed in West End plays and nationally touring musical-theatre productions.
She became one of the "Hill's Angels" on the 1983 cycle of The Benny Hill Show. Also in 1983 she was part of Flick Colby's Zoo dancers on Top Of The Pops, featuring heavily in the dance to "Waiting On A Train" by Flash And The Pan on 02.06.83. She later became a regular on the third series of The Kenny Everett Television Show in 1985.
The Ladybirds also sang on several orchestral albums by Benny Hill's Thames TV musical director, Ronnie Aldrich. In 2005, they appeared one more time on Mark Wirtz's Ear Theatre album Love Is Eggshaped: The Soundtrack. The track "Withdrawal" had vocals by the Ladybirds (by this time comprising Stredder, Kay Garner and Vicki Robinson). [12]
