It is home to the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers baseball team of the NCAA Division I Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. [1] The stadium is part of the larger PNC Sports Complex. [2] In 2007, the stadium underwent $400,000 renovations, thanks to the donation of Mount St. Mary's alumnus E.T. Straw. The venue was dedicated to Straw as a result.
The University of Saint Mary Cross Country and Track and Field teams have won 21 KCAC Conference Championships since the inception of the program in 2011-2012. The Spires have an active streak going while winning nine straight KCAC Men's Cross Country Championships from 2013-2021.

Created in 1985, the IAAF Grand Prix was the first global series of outdoor invitational track and field meetings organised by the IAAF. [1] It followed on from the IAAF Golden Events (1978–82), where the IAAF helped finance meetings between the world's top athletes to encourage seasonal engagement with the sport outside of the Olympic cycle.
