Salvatoris nostri Mater was a papal bull issued by Pope Benedict XIV on 13 December 1740, ending the ecclesiastical division of the city of Lisbon by suppressing the vacant Metropolitan Archdiocese of Eastern Lisbon and incorporating the whole territory into the Patriarchate of Western Lisbon.
The Society of the Divine Saviour (Latin: Societas Divini Salvatoris), abbreviated SDS and also known as the Salvatorians, is a clerical religious congregation of Pontifical Right for men in the Catholic Church. The members of the congregation use the nominal SDS after their names.
The school is named for Californian missionary Saint Junípero Serra.. Serra Catholic was established in September 1961 as an all-boys school by the Order of Friars Minor of the Province of the Immaculate Conception in New York City.
