The Gardner–Webb Runnin' Bulldogs baseball team is the varsity intercollegiate athletic team of the Gardner–Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina, United States. The team competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association 's Division I and is a member of the Big South Conference .
In the summer of 2002, Stroupe to the head coaching position at Gardner–Webb. On April 17, 2019, Stroupe announced that he would be retiring at the end of the 2019 season. [ 6 ] Stroupe is the all-time wins leader in Gardner-Webb baseball history.
Bryson coached at Gardner-Webb from 1966-80, compiling a 305-87 record. During that time Bryson and the Runnin’ Bulldogs made two trips to the Junior College World Series.
Program history was made again in the summer of 2016. Gardner-Webb men, Nathan Lile and Connor Bos, made history by being the first GWU male swimmers to make the United States Olympic Time Trials in Omaha, NE. Both Connor and Nathan qualified in the 100M Backstroke, as Nathan also had qualifying cuts in the 50M Freestyle and 100M Butterfly.

John Henry Moss Stadium is a baseball stadium home to the Gardner-Webb University Runnin' Bulldogs. It was officially completed on September 18, 2010. [1] The first regular season game played there was February 22, 2011. [2] It has a capacity of about 700, but can be expanded.
