Meet the All-Independence Division team for the 2024 West Jersey Football League season
The Cape-Atlantic League operates under the aegis of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association. It was first established in 1949, and today it comprises twenty-two schools, divided into anywhere from one to four divisions, depending on sport. All schools that sponsor a football program are members of the West Jersey Football League.
In order for schools to move on to the state championship, they must achieve a winning percentage of .500 or greater by a pre-set date (the "cut–off" date). [1] Football, wrestling and bowling are the only sports where a school may have a .500 record and not qualify for the postseason.
