The U.S. Life-Saving Station No. 35, also known as Tatham's or Stone Harbor, is located at 11617 2nd Avenue in the borough of Stone Harbor in Cape May County, New Jersey, United States. The Duluth-type life-saving station was built in 1895, designed by architect George R. Tolman using Shingle Style .
The German Valley Historic District is a 69-acre (28 ha) historic district located in the Long Valley section of Washington Township in Morris County, New Jersey.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 14, 1983, for its significance in agriculture, education, transportation, industry, and religion.
The oldest buildings in the district are the two mills on opposite sides of the Clinton Dam on the South Branch Raritan River.The Red Mill, on the west, was built c. 1810 and Dunham's Mill, on the east, was built in 1837. [3]
