Saradananda (23 December 1865 – 19 August 1927), also known as Swami Saradananda, was born as Sarat Chandra Chakravarty in 1865, and was one of the direct monastic disciples of Ramakrishna. He was the first Secretary of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission , a post which he held until his death in 1927. [ 1 ]

Early life and education [ edit ] Satchidananda Saraswati was born C. K. Ramaswamy Gounder on 22 December 1914, [ 1 ] in Chettipalayam , [ 1 ] a suburb of Coimbatore city in Tamil Nadu, India , on December 22, 1914, "to a family of wealthy landowners".
Many national leaders, such as C. Rajagopalachari, Morarji Desai, K. Kamaraj, and others, have spoken on various occasions. On the occasion of the 150th birthday celebration of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, a fiber glass statue of the Holy Mother was placed here in 2004 after taking it around in a procession in various parts of Tamil Nadu.

Ramakrishnananda was born as Shashi Bhushan Chakravarty on 13 July 1863. His father Ishwara Chandra Chakravarty was an expert in ritualistic worship, and Shashi imbibed from him love for ritualistic worship. After passing out of the village school, he went to Kolkata and lived with his cousin Sharat (later, Swami Saradananda) for higher education.
Tamil Nadu Theological Seminary (TTS) is an ecumenical venture of Tamil churches in Arasaradi, Madurai, South India. TTS is affiliated with the Senate of Serampore College and Madurai Kamaraj University. The Principal is Rev. Dr. Margaret Kalaiselvi. The seminary celebrated its 50th Seminary Day on 28 October 2018.
