If it helps soothe your nerves at all, IT 492 is entirely online friendly. The lectures aren't ones you study and take notes for like other classes. It's to facilitate your project and help walk you through the steps. All very very easily done through blackboard collaborate, WebEx, zoom, or anything else. Meeting online also allows people to ...

  3. MKTG 303 Online with Cheng : r/gmu - Reddit

The best way to think of his teaching style is as a bullet point that should be 6 words, but is actually a whole paragraph for no reason. Don’t get me wrong he’s really lenient with grades and a funny guy, he’s just messy as a teacher. I took Professor Cheng. The quizzes was easy since open book.

What classes are you looking at for online? Look at professor reviews because sometimes people do rate online classes. I have taken 2 core English classes, a math class, and a cyber security class online and can tell you my experience about those if it is related to any of them. 2. Award.

  5. BIOL 300 Lab Online : r/gmu - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/gmu/comments/p7u79z/biol_300_lab_online

giveemjex. • 2 yr. ago. I took BIOL 300 last semester, and essentially we finished pre-lab quizzes before our assigned time and lab quizzes during our assigned time. Thus, though the lab provided all materials online (including recorded lectures in PowerPoint going over labs), it was still "synchronous" in the sense that we had to take lab ...

  6. Online Classes, Fall 2021 : r/gmu - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/gmu/comments/n2kjc7/online_classes_fall_2021

Online classes are for anyone to take. Yes, flexibility helps. Not all classes will have online sections, unless those sections are added. Some online classes use lockdown browser with webcam for exams. Whether or not you’ve been vaccinated, if you still worry about taking on campus classes, check to see if there’s an online section offered.

Clas360 with Olga Arans. The class is very easy and interesting. Quizzes and tests are online. Only two papers 500 words in length. Attendance is mandatory but she is a nice lady. She does have heavy russian accent but you can still understand her well. 10. Award. Share.

mdo6180. • 3 yr. ago • Edited 3 yr. ago. The MSCS program at gmu is great. There are only 2 thing I don't like about it 1) it's hard to register for classes due to how quickly sections fill up, 2) the administration can take a long time to get back to you (I personally have not experienced this but my friend says he had trouble getting ...

  9. MATH 125 online a good idea? : r/gmu - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/gmu/comments/qmwydt/math_125_online_a...

I took it with James Lawrence and it was pretty bad despite the fact that I took a discrete math before that one. Then again, Lawrence has a really low rating on RMP. Avoid Lawrence, Carchedi, and Andreani if you can help it. I did it online with De La Peña and it was fine. Weekly lectures that I would just print the slides of, and hw ws based ...

  10. Advice for IT207/216/300/309/341 : r/gmu - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/gmu/comments/gb7hfi/advice_for_it...

IT 341, you use 2 textbooks for this class so make sure not to fall behind. *Read the books*, use quizlet or whatever u can find online to help you study. Treat this like a fast paced class. IT 207 is not really hard, but there are 4 homework assignments (like small projects) that are time consuming.

  11. Is it just me, or does no one seem to like this place? : r/gmu -...

Im thinking of minoring in IT or CS that way I have at least some technical experience with my government major. But yes internships is very important and GMU compared to other schools has the biggest advantage because of the location. DC is only a 30 minute drive for me so that’s a big plus for internships.
