Suspense animes and mangas are subgenre of thriller category. While suspense has the slowest pace, with tension gradually building to a climax, thriller is more fast paced, and centers around what happens after the danger has been established. The following is a list of the best-selling Japanese manga series to date in terms of the number of collected tankōbon volumes sold. All series in this list have at least 20 million copies in circulation. This list is limited to Japanese manga and does not include manhwa, manhua or original English-language manga.
The Kindaichi Case Files is a Japanese mystery manga authored by Yōzaburō Kanari (earlier series) and Seimaru Amagi (later series) and illustrated by Fumiya Satō. The first two series (File and Case series) were serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine [1] from 1992 to 2000.
