According to my calculations for the 1974 Laguna S-3 model only based on 21,902 total production. 7 1/2% or 1,643 had the 454 engine. 2 1/2% or 548 had the M-21 four speed. 15% of the 548 or roughly 85 were non air cars.
Well, in truth, the Laguna Type S-3 454 wasn't so much a muscle car as it was the decaying, bloated corpse of a muscle car--the dug-up remains of the glorious Chevelle SS454, reanimated Weekend at Bernie's-style, with nothing more substantial than a freshly pressed leisure suit.
Came across a '76 Laguna S3, always liked these. Price is fair, fairly nicely optioned (AC, Buckets, console no gauges, PW, PDL). Guy I spoke to was honest and said while it looks nice, the trunk and floor boards have some issues.
welcome to Team Chevelle, those S-3 Laguna Chevelles are getting harder and harder to find i would have to say the hardest year to find would be a 73 i could be wrong but Lagunas are a sweet car i love the looks of them they have the camaro look in the front i would have to say restored maybe 12-15k:thumbsup:
I found what I believe to be a '74 Laguna nose in a junkyard. I bought it for $50. It's all there, but the urethane has millions of hairline cracks in it. It's sorta spongy looking. I sanded it down, patched all the nicks and cracks with flex filler, and took it to a body shop for primer and sealing. With handling, the primer cracked in many ...
The Laguna S3 was Chevys 1974 replacement for the Chevelle SS series, which due to insurance, gas, the phase of the moon etc was discontinued. Background, for S3s Laguna Type S-3 had a new aerodynamically styled soft urethane front end, 15 inch ralley wheels, dual sport mirrors with remote control on drivers side, louvered coach windows ...

Sorry Danny I should have included that info in the other post, I just assumed you knew how it came out. Take out the coat hanger hook above the back side window, there is a screw in front of the side window towards the top and one along the back window about 4 inches from the corner going towards the center of the back glass, there may also be a screw in the door jamb area where the sail ...
I do have a 75 laguna as well that had a 400 th350 combo. chevelle you could get the 454 full year 1975, where as laguna was offered with the 400 being the highest displacement available. dual exhaust cross members were offered on 454 cars, and are incredibly hard to come by. the 454 cars also had the larger sway bars as standard options where ...
