Jack Roosevelt Robinson (January 31, 1919 – October 24, 1972) was an American professional baseball player who became the first African-American to play in Major League Baseball (MLB) in the modern era.
John Allan Robinson (10 August 1917 – 30 July 1972) was an English footballer and player-coach. He played as an inside forward , and signed for Sheffield Wednesday in 1934 at the age of 16. He went on to play for Sunderland and Lincoln City , also taking up managerial duties in his brief time at Lincoln.
In late 2018 Robinson said a loan agreement had been made with The Bank of Qatar after the expansion plan was approved but this source of funding could not be confirmed at the time by journalists. The Las Vegas Review Journal said at the time, "Robinson, who initially planned to open his project in 2016, now expects to finish in 2021."
