The greengill sunfish (Lepomis macrochirus × cyanellus) is sometimes referred to as hybrid sunfish or bluegill x green sunfish hybrid. It is a hybrid between a bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus) and green sunfish (Lepomis cyanellus).
