Ireland–Spain relations are the current and historical relations between Ireland and the Kingdom of Spain. Both states are members of the Council of Europe , the European Union , the Eurozone and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development .

The Ambassador of Ireland to Spain is the head of the Embassy of Ireland, Madrid, and the official representative of the Government of Ireland to the Government of Spain. The official title is Ambassador of Ireland to the Kingdom of Spain. The incumbent Ambassador is Frank Smyth, who was appointed in 2021.
The foreign relations of Ireland are substantially influenced by its membership of the European Union, although bilateral relations with the United States and United Kingdom are also important. It is one of the group of smaller nations in the EU and has traditionally followed a non-aligned foreign policy .
The foreign relations of Spain could be constructed upon the foreign relations of the Hispanic Crown. The personal union of Castile and Aragon that ensued with the joint rule of the Catholic Monarchs was followed by the annexation of the Kingdom of Granada and the Kingdom of Navarre .
