There are incense components for magic spells. Also the censer is a nice item to have in that pack. If your DM isn't a total retard he will realise that a censer = a thurible without the chain (which is a holy symbol, PHB page 150). So there's a free holy symbol for you, relying on the fact that you want to swing it around, burning incense in it.

Rope is useful but every person in the group doesn't need their own personal length of rope, most games don't track food, and in-character cosplay is just a personal choice. It's really just a roleplay choice.
Tie the corners together and make it into a sack. Cover a hole with it and disguse it as part of a trap. Use the crest or image depicted on it to colorfully explain a story from your mythology. You may have a Cleric who has spent their whole life inside of a temple and would have no reason for an explorer's pack, for example. Ah, I see. I see my character as more of a worldly half-orc. I still haven't decided on a divine domain (don't have access to the handbook until Wednesday), so I may have to leave it open-ended until then.
D&D Character advice? Priest's Pack?? 5th Edition. Hey guys I'm working on rolling up a new tier 1 character for the game store I play at that does open games in AL. My current character is about to hit level 5, so she won't be able to do tier 1 anymore so I'm making a new backup for low level games. I've got most stuff squared away already.
Firbolg: 11 tokens of the nature-loving race. Ghosts, Specters, Nightmares, etc: 46 tokens for depicting the incorporeal undead, such as spirits, banshees and ghosts. Giants: 20 tokens of this large, varied race. Gith: 6 tokens of this lesser-explored race. Gnolls: 5 tokens of these hyena-like creatures.
The items in those packs are examples of what a priest (in this case) would have. If an item is not listed in the equipment lists to purchase, then it is up to your DM to dictate if and when that item is available and for how much.
