Simon Chesterman PPA(P) is an Australian legal academic and writer who is currently a vice provost at the National University of Singapore and dean of the NUS College. He was the dean of NUS Faculty of Law from 2012 to 2022.
He began his academic career at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur (1963-1969). He subsequently became founding professor of statistics at the University of Hong Kong (1969-1971) and professor of statistics at NUS (1975-1991).
