I have what I feel is a simple issue to be addressed. Have called AA customer service 4 times and each time reached a rep in Mexico. They are very poorly informed.

If yours (and your wife's) accounts say "CUSTOMER SERVICE BONUS," that's pretty much always compensation due to something going wrong. Good question. American Airlines has 2 departments: one called Customer Relations and one called AAdvantage Customer Service. AAdvantage Customer Service is for assisting AAdvantage members with account issues (address changes, mileage posting issues, etc…) American Airlines Customer Relations is for addressing customers past travel ...
