Hours. Open 9AM – 5PM ; Tuesday – Sunday. Occasionally, hours are extended to allow for special activities, or the museum is closed to the public to accommodate scheduled events. Please see our Calendar or call the museum to confirm a specific date.
In 1980 three important museum events occurred: 1) The March Field Museum was officially recognized as an Air Force Facility in March. 2) The non-profit March Field Museum Foundation was established in May. 3) in November, the outdoor aircraft park (featuring three aircraft) was opened to the public.
