Location of Broadway, Ohio. Broadway is an unincorporated community in western Taylor Township, Union County, Ohio, United States. [1] It has a post office with the ZIP code 43007. [2] It lies along State Route 347 between Raymond and Magnetic Springs. Broadway was one of the last communities to be organized in Union County.
The township was named for Liberty, Pennsylvania, at the suggestion of John Morrow, a resident in the township at the time of its formation in 1803 who was the brother of Ohio Governor Jeremiah Morrow, after his hometown. The first settler was John Nelson, who arrived in 1796, seven years before Ohio became a state.
In 1954 a 60-room motor hotel in Flagstaff, Arizona, opened as the first Ramada (Spanish for "a shaded resting place"). The Twin Bridges Motor Hotel, established in 1957 near Washington, D.C. as a member of Quality Courts, became the first Marriott in 1959, expanding from motel to hotel in 1962.

Broadway–Slavic Village is a neighborhood on the Southeast side of Cleveland, Ohio. One of the city's oldest neighborhoods, it originated as the township of Newburgh, first settled in 1799. [4] [5] Much of the area has historically served as home to Cleveland's original Czech and Polish immigrants.
