I am using Firefox PR 1.0 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1) but I can't see how a different browser could effect a search result (UPDATE: I tried IE6 and got the same results). It definately seems to me that the search function isn't searching any pages created since the 6th of October.
