Bárbara Ernestina Torres (born April 11, 1971, in Mar del Plata) is a Mexican television, theatre and film actress best known for her roles in Hospital El Paisa, VidaTV, and as Exelsa in La familia P. Luche.
La familia P. Luche (English: The P.Lush Family) is a Mexican family sitcom created by Eugenio Derbez. The series aired from August 7, 2002, to September 16, 2012, on the channel Canal de las Estrellas. [1] It is a spin-off of a regular sketch on the XHDRbZ comedy-sketch program.
When La familia P. Luche eventually became a sitcom on its own, she received second billing behind Derbez. La Familia Peluche won a TVyNovelas Award for "Best Comedy Program". [citation needed] She also appeared in Televisa's coverage of the 2000 Summer Olympics and 2002 FIFA World Cup, performing comedy sketches. [citation needed]
