The Malaysian Electronic Payment System (MEPS) is an interbank network service provider in Malaysia. In August 2017, MEPS merged with Malaysian Electronic Clearing Corporation Sdn Bhd (MyClear) to form Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet) .

The Council of the City of Kuching South (Malay: Majlis Bandaraya Kuching Selatan, abbreviated MBKS) is the city council which administers the southern part of the city of Kuching in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia. This council was established after the city was officially granted city status on 1 August 1988.
Kuching Rural District Council (KRDC) was formed in 1956 during the colonial era. From 1957 to 1961, the district officer would become the chairman of the council. From 1962 to 1981, elections would be held for a new chairman. However, starting from 1 November 1981, new chairman would be appointed by the Sarawak state government. [3]

Asajaya was formerly known as "Nonok". It was created as a sub-district under Kuching District on 1 October 1970. In 1993, Asajaya was put under the administration of the newly formed Samarahan Division. At the same time, the sub-district changed its name to "Asajaya". Asajaya was later upgraded into a district on 31 December 1999.
