"Badai Pasti Berlalu" ([ˈbadai ˈpasti bərˈlalu]; English: "The Storm Will Surely Pass") is an Indonesian song written by Eros Djarot and released in 1977 as part of the soundtrack of Badai Pasti Berlalu. It was originally sung by Berlian Hutauruk but has also been covered by Chrisye and Ari Lasso.
Badai Pasti Berlalu was recorded in Pluit, Jakarta [1] in a period of 21 days, led by composer Eros Djarot. The vocals were covered by Chrisye (who also played the bass ) and Berlian Hutauruk , with Fariz Rustam Munaf and Keenan Nasution on the drums , Debby Nasution on the keyboard , and Yockie Suryoprajogo on both the keyboard and drums.
Berlian Hutauruk (born 11 October 1957, in Jakarta) is an Indonesian soprano of Batak descent. Beginning her career singing religious music in church, Hutauruk later sang for movie soundtracks and released a solo album.

Badai Pasti Berlalu was originally released in installments in Kompas between 5 June and 2 September 1972. It was later rereleased as a novel by Gramedia Pustaka Utama in 1974. It sold well, selling 24,000 copies in a short period of time, a "fantastic amount" at the time, [ 2 ] despite costing more than ten times the cost of a magazine.
