The 2024 Towson Tigers football team represented Towson University as a member of the Coastal Athletic Association Football Conference (CAA) during the 2024 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by second-year head coach Pete Shinnick and played home games at Johnny Unitas Stadium located in Towson, Maryland.
The Towson Tigers football program debuted in 1969 with Carl Runk as the first-ever head coach. The first Tiger team posted a 4–4–1 record. The first program win came against Frostburg State University in a 53–16 blowout victory. In only the second season of Tiger football in 1970, the program posted its first winning season at 6–2.

The Tigers won the 2011 CAA Championship with a 7–1 conference record. Towson became the first team in NCAA history to compete in the playoffs at all three levels of competition in football (DI, DII and DIII).
