At the Incarnate Word High School San Antonio, Texas classes run on a modular schedule. Each day is broken down into 17 time-periods called "mods." Mods are 20 minutes long, except the lunch mods, which are 26 minutes. The schedule is on a two-week cycle. On May 10, 2014 Kolb Middle School won the first ever championship for its district. They beat Jehue Middle School, 36-34. The undefeated 5-0 Cougars faced Jehue (4-1) on May 15, 2015.
