Nettleton School District (or Nettleton Public Schools) is a public school district based in Jonesboro, Arkansas, United States.The school district provides early childhood, elementary and secondary education for more than 3,200 kindergarten through grade 12 students at its seven facilities at Jonesboro in Craighead County.
The assumed course of study at Nettleton High School is the Smart Core curriculum developed by the Arkansas Department of Education.Students are engaged in regular and Advanced Placement (AP) coursework and exams prior to graduation, with the opportunity for qualified students to be named honor graduates based on grade point average and additional coursework above minimum requirements.
There were a total of 1,359 students enrolled in the Nettleton School District during the 2006–2007 school year. The gender makeup of the district was 50% female and 50% male. The racial makeup of the district was 27.74% African American, 71.52% White, 0.66% Hispanic, and 0.07% Asian.
