Cass County is a county located in the western part of the U.S. state of Missouri and is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census , the population was 107,824. [ 1 ] Its county seat is Harrisonville ; however, the county contains a portion of Kansas City, Missouri . [ 2 ]
The two highest points in the state are Taum Sauk Mountain at 1,772 ft (540 m) in the St. Francois Mountains in Iron County and Lead Hill just east of the community of Cedar Gap at 1,744 ft (532 m) in the southwestern corner of Wright County. Few localities have an elevation exceeding 1,400 ft (430 m).

Dayton is an unincorporated community in southeast Cass County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1] Garden City is five miles north along Missouri Route F and Creighton lies 6.5 miles east along Missouri Route B. The Settles Ford Conservation Area along the South Grand River lies to the southeast.
Lisle is an unincorporated community in western Cass County, in the U.S. state of Missouri and is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area within the United States. [1] [2] The community lies within one mile of the Missouri-Kansas state line. It is on Missouri Route D between Drexel to the south and West Line to the north.
