The Wiggles are an Australian children's music group formed in Sydney in 1991. As of 2022, the group members are Anthony Field, Lachlan Gillespie, Simon Pryce, Tsehay Hawkins, Evie Ferris, John Pearce, Caterina Mete and Lucia Field. In 2021, Ferris was selected to join The Wiggles as part of its expanded line-up. She appeared as the second Blue Wiggle originally but has changed to be a Yellow Wiggle. As a Taribelang and Djabugay woman, she is the first Indigenous Australian to be a member of the group. [12] [13]
In 2021, the Wiggles sought to increase diversity in the group by adding four additional supporting members. Shortly after this change Emma Watkins , one of the main group members left the group.
