Hite House is an historic hotel building which is located in Stoystown, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Part of the Stoystown Historic District, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. [1]
The contributing sites are the Union Cemetery (c. 1796) and Stoystown-Quemahoning Township Area Recreation Park (c. 1930). The contributing object is a Lincoln Highway marker (1928). Located in the district but listed separately is the Hite House, which dates to 1853. [2] It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. [1]
