Leiv Eirikson Discovering America (Norwegian: Leiv Eirikson oppdager Amerika) is a painting by Christian Krohg.It depicts the explorer Leif Erikson at the moment he discovers American land (presumably Newfoundland), as described in the sagas of Icelanders.
