Victoria East High School is one of two public high schools in the Victoria Independent School District in Victoria, Texas, United States. It has 1,885 students in grades 9 through 12. Construction of two new high school campuses, one serving the east side of the district, the other serving the west side of the district, was completed in 2009. [4] The three counties of the Victoria Metropolitan Statistical Area had a population of 111,163 as of the 2000 census. Its elevation is 95 ft (29 m). Victoria is located 30 miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico.
