Str8 Rippin is a professional Halo team in the United States that competes in the Halo Championship Series. Str8 Rippin was first formed in 2005 for Halo 2 on the Major League Gaming (MLG) Pro Circuit. Their most successful period was during the MLG Halo 3 Pro Circuit, when they won several tournaments.
Ryan has played for many professional teams, including Instinct, Shoot to Kill, Team Domination, DtO, Final Boss, and Team3D. [5] In June 2006, he signed a three-year contract with Major League Gaming. He played on the Boost Mobile MLG Pro Circuit on USA Network in 2006. and was briefly sponsored by NBA player Gilbert Arenas. [4]
The original lineup of Final Boss was first formed as Shoot to Kill (StK) in 2005, at the beginning of the inaugural MLG Halo 2 season. With a roster of the Ogre twins Dan and Tom Ryan alongside Dave "Walshy" Walsh and Ryan "Saiyan" Danford, StK came in first at the five events it attended.
