The Lace Market is a historic quarter-mile square area in the centre of Nottingham, England. It was the centre of the world's lace industry during the British Empire and is now a protected heritage area.

Until the middle of the 19th century, a half-timbered house also known as The Old Angel, existed at the junction of High Pavement and St Mary’s Gate. [2] Originally 2 houses, the current public house building dates from around 1800.
The Adams Building, formerly the Adams and Page warehouse on Stoney Street, is the largest building in the Lace Market district of the city of Nottingham in England. [citation needed] Now Grade II*-listed by Historic England, the Adams Building was formerly a lace showroom and warehouse.
