The city of Alton referenced in this page doesn't exist anymore, but was in Denton County, near Corinth, and obviously, the Old Alton Bridge.     And now the talk page is protected too. Meters 21:30, 5 August 2021 (UTC) I'm a bit confused why the "Shane's Bridge" claim is invalid. I live in the area and if you're talking about the bridge you're as likely to have someone refer to it as Alton bridge as you are Shane's Bridge. Even more so among younger people.
