Hello, AFAIK, the Microsoft mouse and USB transceiver are paired and will only work with each other. In case if they are under warranty, you can ask Microsoft for a replacement. Contact Microsoft Support regrading same. Else you may need to purchase a new set.

It should be the BT driver, BT itself, or the mouse. You can try another driver or another mouse. In general, you can try to troubleshoot BT itself but BT is a complicated thing so that probably won't go so well. The Windows troubleshooter is worth a shot but it probably won't fix anything.
