The name changed from Adobe Reader to Acrobat Reader and it is still free. There also continues to be the product just called Acrobat, or Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Standard; this continues to be not free. All of these (free and not free) might add “DC” to their name. 1 Upvote.
Acrobat Reader does not have all the features that the paid for versions of Acrobat have. There are additional packages available that can add more features to Reader but you will need to purchase those packages and even if you purchased all them, you still would not have Acrobat and you would have paid more than the cost of Acrobat.
I'm trying to download the installer for a 2022 version of Acrobat Reader. 2022.003.20310 would be ideal, but a version close to that would probably work. I've read other posts about getting them from Adobe's FTP site, but those old versions appear to stop at October 2020.

This information might help. To install Adobe Reader using MSI files, you need to download offline installer for Adobe reader from here Adobe Reader Enterprise. After Downloading, unzip de exe file with 7zip or WinRAR. Inside of folder, you will also find the msi file.
1 Correct answer. There isn’t a paid version of Reader (it’s called Acrobat) and there isn’t a free version of Acrobat. My guess is you stopped using Acrobat but it is still installed. Since these are two different apps, downloading one doesn’t get rid of the other. So, uninstall Acrobat.

you can open eps files for viewing in Acrobat Pro, but then that's a monthly fee, just to see files. If they're creating the files for print, tell them to save as an illustrator PDF. That way you can see the files in the free Acrobat Reader, or whatever it's called this week, and they're still vector for printing. Upvote.
