Kermit Junior Member. This is my first post here on CoinTalk. I have a 43' S steely in ms-65+ with a die crack, cud and a possible doubled S. *The inside of the "R" in Liberty is filled. *The Left Wheat Ear has a clean die crack from the 8' oclock to 10' position. *Possible doubled S. This is the second coin in from an original roll of pure 43-S.
Nosaj Member. Came across this nice guy with multiple issues. B in liberty has a tail, the L drops and the word is not straight, weak GO in god, weak E in we, die break is circling through 01 in the date, weak D, also looks like a A and a P is in the off struck obverse. The reverse off center shield points, break in C and faint line going ...
There's certainly nothing wrong with what you're doing, but please be aware these nothing "errors", while they may be "fun" to find, will never carry any real world premiums or be viewed as anything "special". They can a valuable step in the learning process though. Welcome to the forum, Tony. BooksB4Coins, May 21, 2017.

Supporter. TamiPenny said: ↑. Are there any notable Lincoln cent errors from 2010 to date? Not really.. Just a bunch of Die Chips, Die Cracks, Off Centers, Broadstrucks, strikethroughs and Misaligned Die Strikes. all minor Mint errors. paddyman98, Apr 9, 2017.
Here are the errors, I am new to this so I may be missing other errors on it. 1. obverse- double struck. 2. Obverse- double die "Liberty " is doubled and backward and possibly upside down. 3. Reverse has a partial dime print in the shield above "One Cent".
Any thoughts on this 2017-P penny? It appears to have been a defective planchet, e.g. Obverse date and mint-mark would have suffered if PMD; and, Reverse “America” letters would have suffered even greater damage, rather than the apparent mechanical doubling.
Collecting Nut Borderline Hoarder. Santinidollar said: ↑. I would point out that the United States mints a coin called the Lincoln cent, not the Lincoln penny, but judging by the recent explosion of "penny" threads, I suppose it's a useless endeavor. Cent or penny, it all spends the same. Collecting Nut, Aug 25, 2016. #9 + Quote Reply.
