KFWB (980 AM) is a commercial radio station in Los Angeles, California.KFWB is owned by Lotus Communications, and airs a classic regional Mexican music radio format.The station has a colorful history, being the radio voice of Warner Bros. On March 17, 1997 the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced that eighty-eight stations had been given permission to move to newly available "Expanded Band" transmitting frequencies, ranging from 1610 to 1700 kHz, with the original KRZI authorized to move from 1580 kHz to 1660 kHz.
