Raul Ruiz (/ r ɑː ˈ uː l / rah-OOL; born August 25, 1972) is a physician and politician serving as the U.S. representative for California's 25th congressional district. He is a member of the Democratic Party .

Ruiz was a candidate for La Raza Unida Party, a Chicano political party. He ran for the 48th Assembly district seat in Los Angeles in 1971, gaining 8 percent of the vote.
